DiscoverK (한국교육기행) Program (Only for EXCHANGE STUDENTS)
DiscoverK is a program offered once each semester for incoming exchange students, providing them with an opportunity to explore Korean culture and life more easily. Form a group of at least 3 and up to 6 members, and travel around Korea at your preferred time! Plan your own trip focused on themes such as Korean culture, history, art, or music and receive 150,000 KRW support funds from OIA.

Eligibility | ⦁ 2025 Spring Semester Incoming Exchange/Visiting Students ⦁ Must have an SNS account (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) ⦁ Must consist of 3 to 6 members (Individual applications are NOT allowed) |

Selection | ⦁ Approximately 100 students will be selected as a participant |
Exploration Plan | ⦁ Destination: Anywhere within South Korea (Domestic Travel) ⦁ Travel Period: Freely selected within the period from March 17 ~ June 1 ⦁ Travel Theme: Korean Culture, history, art (Select one) |
Support Fund | ⦁ 150,000 KRW per person ※ Will be transferred to the student's Korean Bank account |
Exploration Results | ⦁ Individual Report submission by Google forms - Upload 1 instagram reels video or post per person - Must tag @studyatchonnam - Must tag #DiscoverK, #cnudiscoverK, #studyatcnu, #cnuoia, #studyinkorea |
★ Application Period: Tuesday, March 4 - Sunday, March 9
★ Announcement: Wednesday, March 12
★ Orientation(online): Friday, March 14
★ Travel & Upload your Exploration Results: Monday, March 17 - Sunday, June 1
★ Support fee: By Friday, June 13
